- 1 cup of Semolina or Suji rawa
- 2 cups of hot water
- 1/2 cup of Jaggery
- 1/2 cup of hot Milk
- 7-8 tsps. of Ghee
- A few Almonds
- 1/2 tsp. of Cardamom powder
- 3 tsps. grated Coconut (optional)
Keep stirring the mixture to avoid any lumps in it. Coarsely grate the jaggery and add it to the mixture. Stir it thoroughly for 5-6 minutes.
Remove from fire and add milk in it. Heat 1-2 tsps. of remaining ghee in another small skillet and fry the almonds in it for a few minutes.Pour the fried almonds over the prepared Kheer as garnish.
